Petal Nocturnal began the way most Haluminous pieces do, with a feeling that wanted a shape.
Shown as part of The Frontier at Australian Fashion Week Resort 2027, and supported by Create NSW, Petal Nocturnal took the brand’s two constants, black and the body, and asked what happens when something soft refuses to be fragile.
A collection in black and grey
The palette did not travel far from home. Near-black grounds, charcoal sheers, and the cool shimmer of metallic celestial lace. Drape was the structure: panels that fell and gathered as the models walked, hems cut on the bias so the silhouette kept changing.
Every look on the runway is a piece you can order. Each one is cut and sewn to order in Sydney, so the show is not a fantasy you can never own, it is the catalogue at its most uncompromised.
